Mr Pal Ramesh

Mr Pal Ramesh completed his higher surgical training in Orthopaedic Surgery in the South East Thames region, including Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, before going on to complete a fellowship at Preston and Chorley Hospitals. He was admitted to the Specialist Register for Orthopaedic Surgery in 2005.

Widely recognised for his expertise in foot and ankle surgery, Mr Ramesh was awarded the prestigious DePuy Travelling Fellowship in 2006, followed by the internationally respected American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) Travelling Fellowship in 2007. These honours enabled him to train with leading foot and ankle specialists across North America, visiting major centres including Columbus, Galveston, Houston, Minnesota, Toronto, Rochester, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore.

Alongside his clinical practice, Mr Ramesh is actively involved in research and academic development. He has presented his work at both national and international orthopaedic meetings, including delivering an invited lecture on midfoot tendon pathology at the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) conference. He has also been invited to lecture at the annual conference of the Indian Orthopaedic Association.

Since joining Kingston Hospital in August 2005, Mr Ramesh has combined a strong commitment to patient care with an enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring junior doctors. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association, the British Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (BOFAS), and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
