I completed my Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics on the Bristol Rotation in 2010, before specialising in trauma, pelvis and hip reconstruction, including joint replacement. 

I’ve completed fellowships in Trauma in Nottingham, Pelvic and Complex Lower Limb Arthroplasty at St George’s Hospital, and Trauma and Pelvic surgery in hospital for Special Surgery New York. 

I went on to treat patients with complex trauma in the North East’s major trauma centre (Royal Victoria Infirmary) including pelvic and acetabular reconstruction, in addition to performing simple and complex hip replacement surgery.

My current practice is based in London and I have a particular interest in hip and knee replacement, revision hip replacement, arthroscopic knee surgery and pelvic trauma.

I also have an interest in medical Education and Research. I am an Honorary Lecturer at the University of London and have written content for peer reviewed journals, as well as the Oxford Textbook of Critical Care. 

I speak English and Arabic.
